Just Play

I took a few days last week and decided to “Just Play” with my art. Portrait drawing with charcoal has become my medium of choice and I work until I am finished and the drawing says what I want it to say. So, a complete vacation from drawing was good for me. My hands must be busy so I decided to “Just Play.” With water colors and brushes I colored cards with floral drawings. I made very few decisions except for what brush to use, what color to use and when to put the brush down. It was restful and relaxing to make art that was just for the fun of it. I hope you will try to make some art this summer and “Just Play". It will be wonderful because, you did it!
